The obvious damage on this stock was caused by an individual who had previously tried to fit a recoil system to the stock. the result was the tool used came through the side of the stock.

To repair the stock we had to carefully inlet and fit a new piece of ood into the recess, matching the existing grain and re-finish the stock with our competition grade finish. The stock now looks as good as new. In this case we did not have to make the client a new stock, saving him a lot of money.
