Hussey .500 Nitro Boxlock

This Fine Hussey .500 Nitro Boxlock, Ejector Double Rifle was completely restored.

The rifle was restocked including the fore-end wood in exhibition grade Turkish Walnut, retaining all the original furniture. The stock and fore-end were finished off with traditional checkering and mullered borders, a hand rubbed London oil finish and a leather covered pad.

The barrels were re-regulated, Re-Jointed and re-locked (including Dolls Head) to the action. The action was then tightened onto the barrel lumps to eliminate barrel side play.

The trigger and ejector mechanisms were completely rebuilt and regulated. The barrels and furniture were Rust Blued to traditional standards, all screws, pins and wires were Nitre Blued
